Abstract
SEM, XRD, and FTIR methods were used to create and characterise Allium cepa Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles. The goal of the current study was to determine the ideal circumstances for Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) removal by ZnO-NP utilising onion peels. Utilising the precipitation process and metallic precursor sulphates, ZnO nanoparticles were created. SEM analysis was used to measure the particle size, which ranged from 180.4 to 284.1 nm. The crystalline structure of the Synthesised ZnO-NPs' hexagonal wurtzite structure is amply verified by XRD, and FTIR discloses the numerous functional groups that are present. The research's findings demonstrate how the Bio-nanocomposites can effectively remove SLS by varying various factors (such as time, dosage, pH, temperature, and initial concentration) and achieving the best results possible through experimentation, such as 35 min, 0.35 g/lit, pH 9, 313 K, and an initial concentration of 100 ppm of SLS in an aqueous solution. These Optimum settings increase the effectiveness of removing.
