Abstract

The lobule is the structural unit of the liver. In this paper a multi-physical model of blood flow in the liver lobule is considered. The proposed model is built on the basis of a double porosity model for the process of blood flow which is coupled with linear elasticity for deformations. The computational algorithm is based on finite-element approximation in space and explicit-implicit approximation in time which is a splitting scheme by physical processes. Results of numerical experiments are demonstrated.
