Abstract

The authors give results of calculating the distribution of the efficiency of a gas curtain and heat transfer behind a row of individual orifices in a solid wall through which a coolant is injected into the main flow. A complete system of Navier–Stokes equations that are Reynolds-averaged and supplemented with a low-Reynolds k–e model of turbulence is used.
