Abstract

Over time, bridges are damaged in various ways including vehicle loads, climate factors, and deterioration of materials. Accordingly, performance is weakened. Displacements that are necessary in the assessment of bridge safety are the basis for determining the level of deterioration and age degradation. In this study, static load tests were conducted on a Prestressed Concrete (PSC) girder bridge. In addition, displacements that were estimated using an image processing technique and displacements that were measured using a Linear Variable Differential Transformer (LVDT) were compared. In order to consider a numerical model to precisely simulate the behavior of the PSC girder bridge, a design model was updated through the percent errors from the results of the estimated displacement using the image processing technique.
