Abstract

Abstract This paper is devoted to the numerical study of the propagation of a premixed curved flame in a two-dimensional tube with non adiabatic walls and to the extinction limits of this flame. The thermo-diffusive model is solved using a finite-element method combined with an adaptive gridding procedure. The two-dimensional numerical results are compared to the analytical results for volumetric heat losses in a one-dimensional setting.
