Abstract
The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method was used to investigate the effects of finite left-handed material (LHM) slab and mismatch on the energy localization using the LHM slab. It is shown that both the finite size of LHM slab and the mismatch of constitute parameters can lead to the energy leakage, and the mismatch has a stronger effect
