Abstract

The vacuum vessel (VV) is an important container for thermal fusion of plasma with extremely high manufacture requirements for the high temperature released by the fusion sets. During the welding process of the vacuum vessel, the influence of the bottom support mode on welding distortion cannot be ignored. This paper focuses on a research on topology optimization for the vertical supports of 1/16 vacuum vessel sector through the finite element. The optimization results show that the distortion of the vacuum vessel is minimal when the vacuum vessel supports are in the vertical state. And the bottom support model is established based on the analysis results.
