Abstract

This report examines the three-dimensional flow characteristics and heat transfer of TiO2–Cu/water nanofluid past over a bidirectional surface with the effect of MHD. Tiwari and Das model of nanofluid is used with the thermophysical properties of nanofluid. The derived physical laws have been simplified under boundary layer theory. The complex sets of coupled PDEs have developed in form of ODEs by utilizing the appropriate transformations. The transformed equations handled via shooting method. The impacts of different influential parameters have been sketched. The involvement of different parameters for dimensionless stress, rate of heat and mass are tabulated. Limiting case of present investigation is compared with those of published ones and an excellent settlement is noted. It is noted that the enhancement in fluid parameters behave contrary to fluid velocity as compared with thermal and concentration profile. Moreover, thermal profile depreciate against higher values of Eckert and Prandtl numbers.
