Abstract

Free vibrations are analyzed for isotropic plates in the form of isosceles triangles. A formula for the evaluation of the frequencies of free vibrations of plates of regular triangular shape with free edges is derived, and the coefficients of the vibration mode and boundary conditions are computed. The frequencies and modes of free vibrations of isotropic thin isosceles triangular plates with free edges and different apex angles are calculated by the finite element method. Cite as: O. Ya.
