Abstract

In this paper, we consider a model of sensor networks with correlated activation of sensors. We propose a method for the numerical analysis of such systems. We present a numerical calculation of model characteristics: the average number of successful transmissions per frame; the average number of transmissions that the sensor performs for the entire time the system is running; the average number of successful transmissions per one transmission. The calculation of the average number of successful transmissions per frame allows to find the optimal number of sensors for given system parameters. The calculation of the other two characteristics allows to evaluate the energy efficiency of the system.
