Abstract

The spectral statistical properties, i.e., the nearest neighbor spacing distribution (NNSD), the spectral rigidity and especially the mode fluctuation distribution (MFD) of two and three dimensional quantum coupled quartic oscillators is numerically studied. Changing a single parameter λ, the system is continuously transformed from an integrable to chaotic ones. It is found that the MFD is more sensitive to the integrability of the system than the chaoticity.
