Abstract
Reducing the workload of cast-in-place construction of ballastless tracks can effectively reduce diseases. This study designed the limiting structures of the prefabricated slabs and base plates. A new fully prefabricated ballastless track was proposed. And the track limiting capacity tests and fatigue tests were carried out to verify its service performance. Results indicated that it is necessary to insert two limiting steel bars into the grouting holes for slab limitation, and double piles with a diameter of 0.2 m for base plate limitation. The field tests demonstrated it could withstand large loads from freight trains, and the limiting capabilities of limiting structures were satisfactory. The track structure showed no fatigue damage after 3 million fatigue load cycles. This research can provide insights for low-damage and high-efficiency construction of ballastless tracks for new lines.
