Abstract

Shaoxing coastal plain has dense river and lake water networks, poor river network fluidity, deteriorating water quality, and frequent eutrophication of river and lake water bodies. Water diversion outside the region and connection of river and lake water systems are important measures to improve the water environment of plain rivers and lakes. To demonstrate the effect of water diversion on the improvement of river and lake water environment, the plane two-dimensional water environment mathematical model is used to calculate the water environment of Baima Lake before and after water diversion. From the perspective of water quality indexes BOD and DO, the water quality after water diversion is improved from Class V water to Class III water, the improvement effect of water quality is obvious, and the connection plan is feasible.
