Abstract

In this static analysis has been performed for the crankshaft of four stroke single cylinder engine under fatigue stacking conditions. The primary target of this work is to demonstrate the crankshaft with measurements and accelerate the crankshaft for static and fatigue analysis. The business programming SOLIDWORKS 2013 is utilized for displaying the wrench shaft. The analysis programming ANSYS 14.5 is utilized for static and fatigue analysis of crank shaft. The finite element analysis was done for the current model of a 150cc motor crankshaft. The outcome shows that the greatest stress happens at the intersection of crankpin-crank arm and crankpin-main bearing journal. To acquire better life and to expand the life of the crankshaft, some structure adjustments were made by shifting the plan parameters in the overall crankshaft. Three models of crankshaft were acquired by presenting a different blend of structure parameters, for example, oil opening profundity, filet sweep, wrench geometry and crankpin gap to the Existing model. The quality and the life of the altered crankshafts were acquired by finite element analysis. The outcome of the current model and the changed models are looked at. From the examination, Modified model II shows preferred outcome over the other crankshaft models as far as quality and life.
