Abstract
A novel boundary integral equation-based technique for the direct computations of resonance frequencies for plasmon resonances in metallic nanoshells is presented. In this technique, the calculation of resonance frequencies is reduced to a generalized eigenvalue problem. Numerical results that demonstrate fairly good agreement with theoretical results and available experimental data are reported
