Abstract

In this paper, a millimeter-wave lens antenna with matching slots is simulated by the Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method and Aperture Integration (AI) method, respectively. The antenna radiation patterns obtained by the FDTD method are compared with those of the AI method. It is found that the FDTD method is more accurate than the AI method. In addition, the effects of matching slots on the radiation performance and reflection coefficient of lens antenna are investigated.
