Abstract
Model free Fuzzy Logic Controller and Model Based PID Controller are widely used in controlling elctro-hydraulic actuation systems. In order to have a model free approach that is free of uncertainties of actual system the Fuzzy Logic control is being of higher interest now a days. So a study of comparison of the two type of control has been done using a Simulink model of electro hydraulic actuation system. The results have been shown for a sinusoidal position demand.
