Abstract

The ANSYS finite element software of high computational accuracy was used to perform joint simulation for asynchronous motors. The Maxwell 2D finite element model of 7.5kW squirrel-cage asynchronous motors was established. The model was imported into Simplorer to establish the joint simulation model. At the output end of the motor, the moment of inertia was set, and the state machine feature module was used to simulate the change situation of load torque. Based on magnetic circuit and equivalent circuit calculation method, the current, torque and rotational speed of motors under idling and varying load working conditions were analyzed and calculated. Based on the calculation method of magnetic field, two dimensional transient alternating magnetic field solvers was used to analyze the change situation of transient electromagnetic field under idling and varying load conditions. Finally, the distribution of air gap flux density was solved, and the harmonics of air gap flux density was decomposed. The contents of harmonic amplitude were extracted, and the effect of harmonics on motors was analyzed. Simulation results provide reference to motor control strategies.
