Abstract
In applications of permanent magnet, the calculation for magnetic flux intensity is of primary importance. The magnetic dipole is simple mathematic model which is used frequently. However, it is required that the evaluation points are far from the magnet; otherwise, the measured data is wrong. An approach of calculating the magnetic flux intensities at those points which are very close to the magnet is presented. The model of the magnetic flux intensity is determined, and the magnetic flux intensity at a point is expressed only by a polynomial through the numeric method. Experiment results show that the precision and time efficiency are satisfied.
