Abstract

This work addresses two experiences of the same project, carried out between 2016 and 2017 by the Faculty of Psychology of Universidad de la Republica (UDELAR), The Ministry for Social Development (MIDES), the Mario Benedetti High School and the Vocational Technical University (Universidad del Trabajo del Uruguay, UTU) “Santa Catalina”, belonging to the National Administration of Public Education (ANEP). Some results of the intervention in the mentioned educational institutions are presented, obtained from the elaboration of two reports that included interviews, workshops, observation and meetings with institutional actors: students, teachers, principals, community and other officials. The implementation of some new rights is addressed by listening to the actors as well as the need and meanings of belonging in the educational institution.
