Abstract

An encyrtid parasite, Plagiomerus diaspidis Crawford, is a New Record for the State of Tamaulipas, México. This species was found attacking the scale Diaspis echinocacti (Bouché) on Opuntia engelmannii Salm-Dyck, in Cd. Victoria. Data on other species of Plagiomerus are mentioned.
