Abstract
Boron clusters of the general formula [BnHn] have traditionally been associated with inorganic chemistry. In this issue of Chem, Spokoyny and co-workers employ a [B6H6]2− cluster as a boron-based nucleophile in the substitution reaction of organic alkyl halides and pseudohalides.
