Abstract

We have measured at − k 2 = 0.6 (GeV/ c) 2 and W = 2.3 GeV the inclusive electroproduction cross sections for final-state neutrons and protons from a deuterium target. By comparison with previous data from a proton target, we present cross sections for inclusive nucleon production from neutrons which show great similarity to those from protons. There is evidence that ϱ 0 production is present with essentially the same strength as with a proton target.
