Abstract
A two-baryon interaction with explicit Δ-isobar degrees of freedom is used for the description of inelastic nucleon-deuteron scattering. The Δ-isobar yields an effective three-nucleon force in three-nucleon systems. The three-particle scattering equations are solved by employing a separable expansion of the two-baryon transition matrix. The singularities in the scattering equations are treated by the product integration method. Results for nucleon-deuteron break-up with Δ-isobar excitation are presented.KeywordsScatter EquationVirtual ExcitationSpace StarIsobar ExcitationDeuteron AnalyzeThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
