Abstract

The determination of solubility, induction period (IP), metastable zone width (MSZW) and interfacial energy (IFE) for the crystal L-Arginium Tiglate (LAT) was studied using the aqueous solution. The LAT crystal's solubility was examined at four different temperatures. The crystal's crystallographic characteristics were identified, and it was discovered that the crystal is located in the orthorhombic system. The LAT crystal's UV–Vis spectral analysis showed that the crystal has cut-off wavelength in the UV region leaving the visible region transparent. The second and third-order nonlinear calculations reveals that the L-Arginium Tiglate (LAT) crystal is agood fit for optical applications.
