Abstract

We have measured the complex nuclear susceptibility through the nuclear magnetic ordering temperature in a hyperfine enhanced nuclear magnet PrCu6 with varying frequencies and applied magnetic fields. The measured nuclear susceptibilities show the frequency dependent sharp peaks in the vicinity of the phase transition. Assuming a single spin relaxation process we can calculate nuclear spin relaxation time from the real and imaginary component of the complex susceptibility. The result shows that the relaxation time seems to increase from the order of 1 ms to about 50 ms nearT c .
