Abstract

Nuclear weak responses for neutrinos in nuclei, which are mainly axial vector spin isospin responses, are crucial for neutrino studies in nuclei. Nuclear spin isospin responses for solar-ν, supernova-ν, and ββ−ν have been studied by using charge-exchange spin-flip reactions. 100Mo is found to have large responses for these neutrinos. Then MOON(Mo Observatory Of Neutrinos) composed of supermodules of scintillators and 100Mo isotopes is used for real-time studies of low energy solar-ν and supernova-ν and for spectroscopic studies of ββ−ν with a ν-mass sensitivity of 0.03 eV.
