Abstract
The anisotropy of γ-rays from oriented 142Pr nuclei in Pr metal can be fitted to calculations utilizing electronic moments measured by neutron diffraction if it is assumed that zero-order matrix elements dominate the preceding first-forbidden β transition. The results select one of two possible solutions obtained in previous work.
