Abstract

Hydrogen and phosphorus magnetic resonance measurements have been obtained for mixtures of tri- n-butyl phosphate (TBP) + chloroform, TBP + benzene, TBP + water, and TBP + 1-butanol at 295.15 K, and phosphorus magnetic resonance measurements for the binary mixture of TBP + n-heptane at 293.15 K. These results suggest that both solvation and aggregation occur in TBP mixtures.
