Abstract
We have measured the temperature dependence of the nuclear spin lattice relaxation time T 1 of 63Cu in La 2CuO 4, YBa 2Cu 3O 6 and CuO. Though the observed behavior in CuO is typical of the system described by a spin wave picture, in the other two compounds those are more complex and difficult to be described in a framework of a simple spin wave picture.
