Abstract

The level density parameter α is calculated using the semiclassical approach for 270 110, 278 112, and 290 116 superheavy isotopes. The Woods-Saxon potential is considered for the interaction of nucleons inside a nucleus. Thermal properties of these isotopes, including the entropy, the nuclear temperature, and the heat capacity are calculated within the framework of microcanonical ensemble and the back-shifted Fermi gas model with one adjustable parameter E 1 . The process of breaking the first Cooper pair and cooling of the 270 110, 278 112, and 290 116 superheavy isotopes have also been observed.
