Nuclear fragmentation by nucleation approach

Abstract

The nucleation model is used to simulate nuclear fragmentation processes. The 'critical' value of the effective interaction radius is shown to vary linearly with the expansion factor alpha . The calculated mass and charge yields, as well as the IMF distribution, are compared with the experimental data.
