Abstract

We have studied the nuclear charge radii of superheavy nuclei with Z = 104–126 using their alpha decay properties. It is also observed that the nuclear charge radii are small for some superheavy nuclei compared to that of neighbor nuclei. Surprisingly, nuclear deformation values are large for the nuclei which are having smaller values of nuclear charge radii. The variations of nuclear charge radii with alpha decay energy and half-lives are represented. Nuclear charge radii for superheavy nuclei are also tabulated.
