Abstract
The formation of “bridges” by the aggregation of nucleoli during the early stages of cell growth is thought to be related to chromosome aberrations. Theoretical and simulation models of aggregation indicate that data collected by Gani (1978) can be explained on the hypothesis that bridge formation is a random process.
