Abstract
Introduction: The NSW Ambulance Make Ready Model (MRM) is an innovative ambulance environmental cleaning solution that has been implemented into nine ambulance superstations throughout the Sydney Metropolitan Area. This new way of conducting business has provided a platform to introduce refreshed standards for environmental cleaning specifically for the ambulance. Dedicated logistics staff clean ambulances using evidence-based cleaning practices to achieve hygiene standards in accordance to both the Clinical Excellence Commission and Centre for Disease Control & Prevention assessment guidelines for a health environment.
