Abstract

New magnetic field-sensitive hydrogels have been synthesized using cross-linked poly(vinylalcohol) with attached subdomain particles of Fe 3O 4 (size∼100 Å). The SANS experiments in field ( B∼3 kG) have shown binding to the network of particles. No translational diffusion of Fe 3O 4 particles was observed.
