Abstract
The 2019 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), a key report for national indicators of substance use and mental health in the United States, was released Sept. 11 by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The annual report is based on surveys of a representative sample of the civilian, noninstitutionalized population age 12 or older, and then extrapolated for total numbers.
