Abstract
Background and Aims: Marginal zone B (MZB) cells protect from atherosclerosis by regulating the T cell follicular helper (Tfh)/ germinal centre (GC) response, in part through upregulation of PDL1 expression (1). NR4A genes are among the most highly induced genes in B cells following BCR stimulation and we previously found that NR4A1 was significantly up-regulated in MZB cells after the consumption of high fat/ high cholesterol (HF/HC) diet (HF/HC diet) in mice. However, the role of NR4A1 in this context is still unknown.
