Abstract

Quadrupole interactions in ortho-, meta- and para-Br- and I-benzoic and hippuric acids have been studied by means of NQR spectroscopy. It is shown that the formation of the Na-salts results in NQR frequency changes. The temperature dependence of the 79Br and 127I NQR frequencies in the para-halogen derivatives of the benzoic and hippuric acids are investigated. The 127I NQR spectra in a few derivatives of 2, 4, 6-I3C6H2COOH are studied at 77 K.
