Abstract

Multicystic nephroma is a rare benign cystic lesion of the kidney, which usually manifests as unilateral multicystic renal mass without solid elements. We here report a characteristic and original case of voluminous multilocular cystic nephroma on CT scan. The study involved a 34 years-old-man, Mr I.M, with no particular past medical history, presenting to the emergency department with left nephretic colic evolving over the last 2 years. Clinical examination was normal. Renal ultrasound highlighted a cystic renal mass involving the left upper pole. Uroscanner objectified multilocular cyst, without signs of malignancy. Partial nephrectomy was performed. The postoperative course was uneventful.
