Abstract

A series of novel chiral pyridine-phosphite ligands, synthesized from PCl3, chiral BINOL and 4H-quinolyl alcohols, have been successfully applied in the Pd-catalyzed asymmetric allylic substitution reaction, which afforded the substituted products with high enantioselectivities (up to 95% ee).
