Abstract

This manuscript probes about effectualness of Fourier Multiple orthogonal window and least squares errors minimization over single sliding orthogonal window and conventional methodologies to estimate damping factors that effects in effectual damping of power system inter- area oscillation and to examine the effectualness of proposed methodology is tested by feeding real time power system data'sinMATLAB simulation package upshots of the simulation vindicates that proposed methodology is precise over conventional methods in gauging damping coefficients.
