Abstract

A novel electronically tunable frequency dependent negative resistance (FDNR) circuit employing single FDCCII and three passive components is proposed. All passive components are grounded. The proposed circuit requires no component matching. The performance of the FDNR is demonstrated on the seventh order elliptic filter. Simulation results are given to confirm the theoretical analysis. The proposed implementation can be used for the realization of electronically adjustable FDNR for the design of integrated circuits active filters.
