Novel electro-fluorescent materials with hybridized local and charge-transfer (HLCT) excited state for highly efficient non-doped pure blue OLEDs

Abstract

Two molecules with HLCT characteristics were synthesized through fine-tuning the substituent on PPI based on the PPI–TAZ skeleton, and the non-doped device based on PPITZCN achieved higher efficiency with an EQEmax of 7.5% and CIE of (0.16, 0.10).
