Abstract
This paper reviews our recent progress of a novel magnetic recording method which is based on all-optical magnetic recording and plasmonic antennas with bit-patterned media. Using our technique, magnetization reversal occurs at the femtosecond time scale and recording density is over 2 Tbit/inch2. We will verify our recording method in terms of precise electromagnetic simulation for ultra-short time light pulse.
