Abstract

The Antimony doped tin oxide (ATO) film without mud cracking is prepared on the surface of porous Ti, which is different with the method of film doping. The flexural surface of porous Ti provides effective stress compensating for the adhesion layer. The ATO film covers the surface of porous Ti smoothly and combined with it tightly. The EDS results indicate that the film is a solid solution of tin and titanium. Comparing with the dense Ti based ATO film, the porous Ti based ATO film shows big specific surface area (0.16m2g−1), better corrosion resistance (mass loss decreases 83%) and higher current density (more than 2.3 times) under the experiment conditions, which presented attractive prospect on its application.
