Abstract
Three new species of Perrottetia Kunth in H.B.K. ( Celastraceae ) from the premontane and montane forests of Colombia are described and illustrated. It is proposed that P. caliensis Cuatrec. is synonymous with the older name P. quinduensis Kunth in H.B.K and a key for the Columbian species of the genus is presented.

Summary
El género Perrottetia (KUNTH in HUMBOLDT, BONPLAND & KUNTH, 1825) fue descrito a partir de una planta colombiana originaria de los montes del Quindío, a la que se le asignó el nombre de P. quinduensis. Se propone la sinonimización de P. caliensis Cuatrec., bajo el binomen prioritario P. quinduensis Kunth in H.B.K., y se incluye una clave para las especies colombianas del género.
