Abstract

Corporate governance in the public sector in Serbia is in its infancy. Only the first steps in the legal and regulatory arrangement of mater have been made. There is a lot of deviations at the very outset. The status quo forces are very strong, and the opposed pressure comes from the need to comply with EU regulations. There is a lot of dilemmas, both in settings and in practical approaches. This article discusses important solutions to corporate governance in public sector, revealing dilemmas and giving opinions that lead to dilemma resolutions.
