Abstract
The condensation of several aldehydes with 2-aminothiophenol on silica gel / nitrobenzene or montmorillonite K10 / nitrobenzene under microwave irradiation afforded 2-arylbenzothiazoles in good yields and high purity. © 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
