Abstract
The examination of the beta and gamma activity resulting from the 170Er(n, p) reaction has shown the existence of a new 2.9 min 170Ho isomer. A decay scheme is proposed for the 42 s and 2.9 min 170Ho states. An unreported 249 keV gamma transition is shown to belong to 4.4 min 167Dy produced by the 170Er(n, α) reaction.
